The Spectrum Aircrafts
"We’re proud to be developing aircraft that set new standards for comfort, performance and value. During the past twenty-five years, Spectrum has invested heavily in creating new and unique technologies that allow us to build exceptionally rugged aircraft that are up to 40% lighter than aluminum airplanes of similar size, resulting in substantially lower fuel consumption – and dramatically increased efficiency." more.
Spectrum fibeX®
Spectrum Technology

"Spectrum’s success begins with a remarkable material called fibeX®. This unique combination of carbon fiber and epoxy yields excellent strength to weight ratios, and has advantages over earlier generation composites because of its automated fabrication and application flexibility.

The remarkable physical properties of fibeX® are further enhanced by Spectrum’s use of cutting edge structural design and manufacturing approaches that have been carefully developed to take maximum advantage of the material’s inherent characteristics. Manufacturability and the requirements of FAA certification have guided Spectrum’s development from the beginning, always with an eye toward delivering superior aircraft to satisfied customers."more

The Freedom S.40

"Spectrum’s Freedom S.40 mid-size jet offers stand up cabin accommodations for as many as nine passengers with cruising speeds up 440kts (MO.77) and a maximum range of more than 2200nm.

The Spectrum Freedom S.40 is destined to be one of the most popular jets in the mid-size cabin class, offering “stand up” cabin height combined with performance on a par with aircraft costing millions more, while rivaling the fuel economy of much smaller aircraft. The Freedom uses technologies, structures and manufacturing practices that are setting new standards for operational efficiency and manufacturing precision.

Design of the Freedom’s aerodynamics, systems, and structures has been highly integrated with development of manufacturing processes. Effort has focused on ease of maintenance in addition to excellence in performance and safety.
