 Tiny Power was founded by Charles Arnold of Junction City, Oregon, who started the Tiny Power business sometime in the 1940s. He was a perfectionist in anything he did and one of his models was exhibited in the Smithsonian Museum for several years. I visited Mr. Arnold in 1963, and was very impressed with his model "M" engine and all the other Tiny Power products. Mr. Arnold died in 1975 and I purchased the Tiny Power business from his son in 1977. When the price of fuel went up in the early 70s, I remembered the "M" and thought it could be modified to to drive a generator to produce electricity for those who wanted to burn wood, or other cheap fuel in a remote location...
